Italian charcuterie for a fireplace picnic

Updated: Oct 1, 2019

Great ingredients, paired well together for a cozy night in.

.

I love simple food as much as I love grand, all day recipes. When ingredients are excellent, it's a pleasure to indulge in them on their own, and paired with other stellar products.

Perfectly ripe Empire and Honeycrisp apples, Ripe blueberries, sweet nutty Parmigiano Regianno, salumi, mortadella, black olives, arugula, bellavitano cabernet, brie, toast and crackers, .... or any of your favorite antipasto bites.

Growing up nothing was served from a store bought container. Everything on the table had its own serving dish, plate or bowl.

I found some gorgeous natural wood serving boards on Etsy and Marshall's. Making food beautiful makes everything taste better. So plate up something tasty, light the fireplace, or hit Netflix and graze, for a cozy night in.
